Ok, I woke up this morning....I still believe this to be the United States, but the more I hear and see, the less I recognize my country. I discovered yesterday that Secretary Napolitano sees the average blogger, who is of a different mindset than her political ideology, as an extremist. I understand that political speech is being watched online. I don't hate anyone. I hate what is happening to our country. I am not going to lash out at anyone, unless to defend myself. I have that right. I don't intend on causing any harm, though I do intend to continue to tell my opinions. If they are watching, maybe they will learn something by what they read. My reality is, I am not going to back down from my morals and values because the DHS thinks that I am someone to watch. I am not going to react out of fear. If they are watching me, they are watching.....so be it. I figure that I might as well continue to give them something to read.
First for the record, here and now, if there was any doubt, from the other blogs I have available here at blogger....I am Conservative aka a Right Wing Extremist (per DHS this week), and I am a Christian. For the record, I believe in life. I believe that we all have souls, though some call the soul a conscience, and that those souls live on beyond the life we experience here on earth. I believe those souls to answer for our earthly personal choices. I believe that there is only one way for a person's soul to be forgiven of our earthly sinful choices. I believe Yeshua/Jesus is the way to Yahweh/Jehovah/God, and that Yeshua is the only way. Yeshua was the perfect lamb of Yahweh, the God of Genesis throughout all time. I believe we have but a short time here to make our imprint on this earth, and that our duty as Christians is to share the salvation message with as many as will hear it. I believe that the road of a Christian is a precarious one. I believe the Word has all the answers from the dawn of time until now. I believe that we must remain as Christians steadfast in our faith, and that part of being a Christian is reflected in our values by the people we choose and elect to office and other choices we make. I believe that the current atmosphere and climate that exists in the country today is one that doesn't promote Christianity, at all. Honestly, I am appalled at the recent actions that took place at Georgetown University, which is a Jesuit University. Our country's President actually requested all religious pictures and statues during his speech there on April 15, 2009. There was no call to go into someone else's house and demand conformity, because by so doing you discriminate against their faith and also deprive them of their constitutional freedoms. If the idea of no faith symbols was so important for this administration to accomplish, then this administration should have provided a more appealing to all venue for hosting the event. I am appalled at the actions of this administration in many ways, but honestly, to say the very least, there is nothing worse than knowing that the internal policing system established for valid reason to keep us safe from terrorists, is now calling anyone who believe in specific ideas someone to watch.
Well, here I am....I hold up my hand high....I believe in my right to declare my citizenship in the US of A, and honestly, there was a time I was proud of this nation and what it stood for. I am not even sure what we stand for now. I know one thing, if you go through this life and you don't stand for something, you will fall for darn near anything. This statement has never rung more truly than the toll I hear in my ear daily, as another part of what I valued most about out nation seems to be done away with.
I believe in Life. I believe that abortion is murder. I believe that women who have abortions suffer sometimes for years afterwards with depression, guilt, and even suicidal thoughts. I know some people who have gone through abortions, and I know their agonies. I know that for each abortion that a woman has, her breast cancer risk increases by 50%. I would even venture to say that if a cross reference was done to question breast cancer patients to see if there was an abortion in the past, the numbers would surprise the average person. I know people who fit this shoe. I know that if there had never been all of these abortions since Roe vs. Wade that we would have approximately another 35 million Americans or more. When that is considered, there is a distinct issue here. I thought that we as Americans in our founding documents were guaranteed, "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness." Abortees do not get their individual rights because of the argument that life begins when? Life begins when an egg is fertilized by a sperm. Did you or did you not learn that in science class at some point? If not, then the Left Wing Extremists had already taken over and biased the school system by the time you were attending. I know that a telephone call begins charging me for call at the time that the other person answers their phone. I know that I dial it, let it ring, but when the connection truly occurs is when I have my call answered by my callee. Now, planned parenthood is being promoted more and more, without teaching any value structure system. Planned parenthood for all practical purposes assist in murder. I believe they are a menace to our society. The number of children a family has should not ever be allowed to be legislated by government, either. If a person wants and can provide for many children, they should have them without interest from the state. I believe the only reason that statements referring to the fact that there are too many Americans, is so that down the road they will be able to limit how many children we have as families. I also believe that another reason for it is population control for a different reason...amnesty, to sum it up. When they give amnesty to all the illegals here, and then they give rights to those that come, then our population on paper will increase.
For the record, I am a Bachelor of Science holding Accountant. I own two businesses. I know that the economic situation in this country is not as close to fixed as the hope on the horizon would like for us to believe. We may see Stock Market improvements and downturns. Much has changed in light of all the bailouts, etc. Our capitalistic market has become more like a Marxist or Fascist type situation. Our government under Bush started the bailouts but only purchased preferred stock, which receives a dividend if there is a profit but no voting rights. Under our new administration, we have our government owning majority shareholder voting rights for some of the largest banks in our nation. The new administration bought Common Stock not Preferred Stock. Common Stock gives more control in the company...shareholder rights. Though technically the banks are not nationalized, under the disguise of a bailout and common stock, it is nationalization. This will create issues. Honestly, I believe this will allow Washington to politicize lending even more so than ever before. If the treasury continues to print bonds to give to the Fed which in turn will relinquish more cash they print + 10% they keep to allow them to lend more to others. It is all a vicious cycle that had to reach a bottomless pit at some point. I recommend preparing now mentally for the coming storm. God Bless each of you and keep you safe in the coming times. ~the Right Wing Extremist Rebecca Figone....Take care out there.
